Superide II Subframe
|
Now you can have a SUPERIDE IITM SUBFRAME
for your `62-`67 Chevy Nova from Heidt's Hot Rod Shop,
the leader in suspension products in the Street Rod
market. This is a fully bolt-on suspension subframe with
complete suspension components. It just bolts right on
to the firewall in place of the original subframe with
no welding, just as their highly successful original
subframe using the Heidt's suspension package. This one
includes fully adjustable coil-over shock assemblies,
with chrome springs. The billet aluminum coil-overs are
offered in both plain and polished finish and are fully
adjustable in dampening and spring rate selection. This
subframe also includes many other standard features such
as tubular control arms, 11" disc brakes, manual rack
& pinion steering, motor mount stands welded in
place and firewall tubes with shims. The list of options
is the largest in the industry. Some of the options not
available on other competitors products are power
steering, narrowed control arms (for those wide hides),
and adjustable firewall tubes which do not use shims.
And for those who have to have the most of everything,
Heidt's offers their 13" 6 piston monster big brakes!
This particular package is a special configuration
designed at Heidt's which does not move the wheels out.
Very important if you are using narrowed arms to bring
the wheels in. It is offered with the black or polished
calipers. Other standard options include polished
stainless steel control arms, polished 4 piston calipers
for the 11" brakes, polished billet hubs, dropped
spindles, sway bar, and inner fender panels. |

The kit consists of the main crossmember, which becomes
the front of the frame, rear control arm brackets,
control arms and hardware, spindles, coil-over shocks,
rotors and calipers, rear mount rack and pinion.

SUPERIDE Independent Rear
Suspension - IRS
|
Now you can finish your street rod the
right way with Heidt's new SUPERIDE IRS kit. It is
the best riding and handling IRS to combine with your
SUPERIDE IFS and will make your street rod a first class
ride. The geometry is designed to be compatible
with the SUPERIDE IFS, as well as most other independent
front suspension kits. It is a complete nit, hub
to hub, just like the SUPERIDE IFS. It begins with
a cast aluminum alloy center housing, which is available
fully polished. It includes a Ford 9" 3rd member,
which is also available in fully polished
aluminum. All popular gear ratios are standard,
and positraction is available. Tread widths for
all the popular applications from 55" to 62" are
standard, and custom widths can be ordered.
Inboard disc brakes with polished Wilwood calipers are
standard. Half shafts include heavy duty 1350
U-joints, and are available chrome plated. Lower
control arms are available standard in plain steel, or
can be upgraded to polished stainless steel, plain or
polished billet aluminum. Aldan adjustable billet
coil-overs are standard, also available polished.
Chrome springs are standard. Dual coil-overs are
also available for heavier applications. Outer
uprights are heat treated aluminum alloy and use
Corvette bearing assemblies. Ford bolt pattern is
also available. Front and rear tie bars, urethane
brushed crossmember, pinion support with links and
forward struts are included. Forward struts,
pinion support links, tie bars and pinion plate are also
available in polished stainless steel and plain or
polished billet aluminum. Many other options are

HEIDT AIR SPRING SUSPENSION WITH
REAL BOTTOM-OUT SNUBBERS!
Air Spring Conversion Kit

Heidt's offers two choices when selecting
air spring suspension for your street rod. If you
already have Mustang II suspension in your car, you can
purchase an Air Spring Conversion Kit. This includes all
the air spring components, which are the air springs,
compressor, air tank, gauge panel, air line and
fittings, along with new lower air spring control arms,
shocks, upper shock mounts, and upper air spring
adapters.
If you are building a new car or chassis, you can go
air spring from the start with Heidt's new complete
Suspension Package including an Air Spring
Crossmember. This is designed specifically for air
springs, and uses no adapters. It too has Heidt's
exclusive bottom-out snubber design, for a safe
suspension system. The complete air spring suspension
component package for this crossmember contains the
special lower control arms with the bottom-out
snubbers installed, along with all the other
suspension components. This, along with the basic air
kit which contains all the air components, will give
you a complete air suspension system for your street
rod that will let you cruise to rod runs the smoothest
way possible.

Triangulated 4-Bar Kits are very popular as they do
not require a Panhard Rod. This design is also similar
to many GM installations. Bars are fully adjustable,
1" X .156 tube with 3/4" stainless adjusters and
urethane bushings, angled and straight chassis
brackets, multi-position coilover axle brackets, tabs
and hardware. These kits are available in plain steel
or polished stainless steel tubes.

PARALLEL 4-LINK KITS
The Parallel 4-LINK Kit is very easy to install and is
a good choice for many installations. It uses 1" X
.156 tube bars with 314" stainless adjusters and
urethane bushings, chassis mounting brackets,
multi-position coil-over axle brackets and hardware.
NOTE: These kits require the use of a Panhard
Rod.
CLASSIC TRUCK 4-LINK KITS
Coil-over, 4-Link rear suspension provides the best
ride for any classic truck. These kits attach directly
to the stock frame rails. The adjustable axle brackets
let you set ride height in one of three positions. A
bolt-in upper crossmember for coil-overs is included.
Kits available in plain steel or with polished
stainless steel. NOTE: These kits require the use of a
Panhard Rod.
