Heal Your Gut with Bone Broth: The Natural Way to get Minerals, Amino Acids, Gelatin and Other Vital Nutrients to Fix Your Digestion

The key to a healthy, happy stomach starts with bone broth. Used by our ancestors for centuries, broth restores and promotes the healthy bacteria crucial for pain-free digestion. Heal Your Gut with Bone Broth unleashes these ancient, healing powers to conquer discomfort with a seven-day program, including:
•Essential mineral information
•Easy-to-follow daily meal plans
•Simple, organic recipes
•Trigger foods to avoid
•Tips for long-term health Designed to quickly relieve tummy troubles, this book also details the added benefits of broth, including stronger bones, younger skin, healthy hair and weight loss.

Alchemy of Amino Acids: The Power of Amino Acids in Mood and Health

Amino acids are essential to life. They are central to virtually every function of the human body. All body tissues - every muscle, hair, nail, enzyme, and brain cell - is made of amino-acids. They are the precursors to happy and sad brain chemicals or neurotransmitters.
The pool of amino acids is highly dynamic, changing moment by moment by shifting the flow of metabolic pathways in response to multiple physiological signals. The benefits of taking amino-acids to improve your health can hardly be overstated.

They are central to the bio-chemistry of your body. They play a major role in nearly every chemical process that affects both physical and mental function. Ensuring a balanced and optimal intake of amino acids becomes critical for prevention as well as treatment of many chronic illnesses.
Discover the therapeutic potential of amino acids from improving libido, relieving pain, stimulate weight loss, slow aging, ease pain, balance mental health, optimize gut function to boosting energy.
This book offers an in-depth peak at:
• Properties and classification
• Therapeutic role in body's physiology
• The high’s and low’s of each amino acid
• Assessment and interpretation of lab reports
• Custom compounding of amino acids

Amino Acids in Therapy: A Guide to the Therapeutic Application of Protein Constituents

This comprehensive guide for health practitioners covers all aspects of amino acid therapy and lists conditions which are particularly responsive to such treatment. Includes information on: Amino acid profiles

Amino Acids: Biochemistry and Nutrition 2nd Edition

Following its predecessor, the second edition of Amino Acids: Biochemistry and Nutrition presents exhaustive coverage of amino acids in the nutrition, metabolism and health of humans and other animals. Substantially revised, expanded and updated to reflect scientific advances, this book introduces the basic principles of amino acid biochemistry and nutrition, while highlighting the current knowledge of the field and its future possibilities.
The book begins with the basic chemical concepts of amnio acids, peptides and proteins, and their digestion and absorption. Subsequent chapters cover cell-, tissue-, and species-specific synthesis and catabolism of amino acids and related bioactive metabolites, and the use of isotopes to study amino acids metabolism in cells and the body. The book details protein turnover, physiological functions of amino acids, as well as both the regulation and inborn errors of amino acid metabolism. The book concludes with a presentation on human and animal dietary requirements of amino acids and evaluates dietary protein quality.
Encompasses a comprehensive coverage of basic to applied concepts in amino acid metabolism in humans and other animals.
Highlights important roles of dietary amino acids and protein intake in growth, physical performance and health, including sarcopenia mitigation and immunity.
Discusses concerns over the excess intakes of amino acids or protein in the development of diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and cancers, as well as bone integrity
Each chapter contains select references to provide comprehensive reviews and original experimental data on the topics discussed.
Each chapter is backed by original experimental data on various topics discussed and contains select references to aid the reader further in research.
Written by Distinguished Professor of Animal Nutrition, Guoyao Wu, Ph.D., this book is an authoritative reference for students and researchers in both biomedicine and agriculture.

An Easy Way To Understand Vitamins, Minerals & Herbs: Also Included: Essential Fatty Acids, Enzymes & Amino Acids

a description of the importance of vitamins and minerals, I then added a section on what each vitamin and mineral is, what are good food sources and then what the Recommended Daily Allowance is for the USA and UK. I then decided to expand the book by adding Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) which are critically important for good health. You have to get these from your diet – the body cannot manufacture them. Enzymes are often forgotten or misunderstood, so I added a section on these as well. Enzymes are the “workers” – they make things happen in the body. Without them, you would not digest your food; in addition, they are involved in so many body processes, that without them, your body would cease to function. After this I then included Amino Acids – the building blocks of proteins in the body. There are two types – Essential Amino Acids (which must be provided from the diet) and Non-Essential Amino Acids which the body can manufacture itself. Next, I included a large section on herbal products. Some herbs have been used medicinally for thousands of years – especially in China. I finished this section off with a comprehensive A-Z of herbal products, explaining what they do. And finally, I have included a section on all the body systems – what they are and what their function is, together with a selection of suggested products to help support these systems. I have enjoyed writing this book. In my more than 30 years of doing natural health research, I have never found one book that contained all the information that I needed. It has always been the case that I would have to research many books and articles as well as searching on the Internet. Now I have got everything together in one place, and I will use this book a lot myself – and I hope you will enjoy reading it too and will gain a greater understanding of natural health and the importance of looking after your body.
